Alper Halbutoğulları
Alper Halbutoğulları received his B.S. (1993) degree
in Physics from
Bilkent University and his M.S. (1996) degree in
Algorithms, Combinatorics & Optimization from
Carnegie
Mellon University.
He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering
at Oregon State University in December 1998 under the supervision
of Dr. Çetin K. Koç. Alper is currently working for AMD
in California.
Alper's research interests are in high-speed computer arithmetic
for finite fields and elliptic curve cryptography, algorithms,
combinatorics, and optimization.
